Tim Durkin
Tim is a Sr. Managing Director at G2 Capital Advisors, a Sr. Managing Director at Camber Holdings, a Member of the Board of Managers at Leigh Fibers, LLC, and a member of the Board of Managers at United Comb & Novelty Corp. d/b/a United Solutions. Through these functions he is focused on bringing Fortune 500 management capabilities to small & middle market companies seeking to improve their management performance, growth and profitability. Tim is currently acting as a CRO for a G2 client, and recently led a revitalization effort at United Comb & Novelty Corp dba as United Solutions.
Previously he led the turn-around and sale of a bimetallic metals business, the sale of a division from a privately held construction company and a synergistic acquisition for a client under a revitalization process lead by G2 Capital Advisors. Tim has developed & implemented strategic and restructuring plans for several businesses, executed a Chapter 7 liquidation for a large Private Equity shop, and completed the integration of two European subsidiaries for a privately held U.S. parent.
Tim is a retired operation executive from the Koch Industries, Inc. family of companies. In his 26 years with Koch, 15 were spent in M&A integration/divestiture, operational turnarounds, and in distressed business management for units within Koch. His industry experience includes oil & gas, chemicals, pipelines, agriculture, construction & construction products, paper, flooring, distribution, specialty services, bulk products, fibers, food processing, commodity trading & others. He has a broad generalist management background serving in a variety of Sr. Management Roles depending upon the individual business needs.
