What is a Recyclable Unit?

A Recyclable Unit is defined as a mattress or box spring:

  • Free of bed buds, other insects, or vermin

  • Not excessively dirty, rancid, or hazardous for recycling

  • Dry

  • Removed from any solid waste, trash, debris, or other refuse.

 

A Non-Recyclable Unit is defined as a mattress or box spring: (We will accept for a $10 per unit surcharge)

  • That is wet

  • That is crushed with hydraulic machinery

  • That is excessively dirty or rancid

 

A Rejected Unit is defined as a mattress or box spring:

·      Soaking wet, requiring 3+ people to move

·      Infested with bedbugs

·      Biohazardous to our crew

·      A “dead bed” with decomposition

·      Covered in feces

·      Have been used to soak up and clean waste sites
